Our Farm
Sharing the joy our farm brings with you
We are a small family homestead located in Taylorsville, NC. We are focused on producing wholesome goods for our family and sharing its process. Currently, we do not sell any farm goods to the public as we are under property renovation.

Our love for animals has overflowed with our dogs. We have gathered resources and put our experience and passion to work. To start a family-driven breeding program, with the goal of breeding quality, healthy pups with great temperament. (see Pups page)

Our core goal is to operate humanely and life-giving through every practice. As young aspiring farmers, we are constantly adapting as we learn. We enjoy what we do and hope to always share that joy with others.
Our Story
The Soler Family
In 2014, Juan and Andrea got married. They moved from South Florida to Chicago and attended Moody Bible Institute, formalizing their call into ministry. This young couple from a suburb beach area was thinking about farming while living in a metropolitan freezing windy city. But, that was not an obstacle for them. They started planning and preparing––dreaming of the moment they could have a Homestead. A space to grow wholesome food and sustain a more natural lifestyle for their future family and share this goodness with others.
For five years while in Bible College they read farming and homesteading books, listened to every podcast on the subject, walked with experts, and remained active in ministry.
In Chicago's small city apartments, they learned how to compost and raised 1,000+ red worms. They planted food in window boxes, learned how to can, make cheese, and more. They also befriended wonderful farmers, while serving in the rural areas of Illinois. These farmers shared with them their experience, advice, and greatest of all; their friendship.
In the spring of 2019, they both walked MBI's stage and graduated with Andrea expecting twins. Just in time for the twin's arrival, Juan got hired as a youth pastor at an amazing church in Hickory, NC. A year after moving, mid-2020 pandemic they purchased over 12 acres of land with an old fixer-upper farmhouse on it.
Today, Juan continues to serve in full-time ministry with the youth at church. Andrea is finalizing graduate school and the twins are about to enter their school years.
Together they are steadily bringing their dream into reality one step at a time. Passionately learning and growing from every experience.
